Love Family Park
In 1996 the Love Family Park – back then staged in Hanau – invited electronic music lovers to celebrate all together in a family like atmosphere for the very first time. Since then, artists such as Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin, Solomun, Underworld, Deichkind, Ricardo Villalobos, Fritz Kalkbrenner, Loco Dice, Luciano, DJ Koze, Seth Troxler and many more have been the soundtrack to this family gathering under the sun.
Since then, a lot has happened: After a stopover in Mainz, the Rüsselsheim Mainvorland is the new home one of the longest-serving and largest one-day open-air festival for electronic music in Germany. The Rüsselsheim kick-off event 2018 - "Back at Main" - led to a veritable rush of visitors and the certainty that the Love Family Park remains a set date in the celebration calendar of the electronic music scene even after more than 20 years since its inception.
On July 4th, 2015, the Love Family Park - now located in the Messepark Mainz – celebrated its 20th edition with 25,000 visitors from around the world who danced in front of three large open-air stages and two indoor floors in tents. Towards the end of the event 15,000 voices sang together with Sven Väth, the father of the Love Family Park, a resounding Happy Birthday producing collective goosebumps. At dusk, the final fireworks dismissed the euphoric visitors into the night.
