cosmopop designed a customer gift for Philip Morris. A music CD with nonstandard packaging. Either content or packaging ought to be in accord with the image and the values of Philip Morris. Equally important was to gain high acceptance in the gastronomy.

 



Aim

Every christmas Phillip Morris presents its key accounts with customer gifts. To be distinguishable from conventional business gifts, the present should be creative and unusual. The goal was to realise an individual and exclusive gift for key accounts of the national gastronomy.

Solution

A high-quality music CD with nonstandard packaging. Either content or packaging ought to be in accord with the image and the values of Philipp Morris. Besides the possibility to present the customers with an attractive gift another purpose is served. The CD launches a series with collection benefits. So Philipp Morris economizes the annual process of finding the right product and on top builds customer retention. The choice of the artist and limitation of 1.000 copies by serial numbers clarifies the exclusiveness of the gift.

Music / Artist Chosen

The musical assortment of the CD combines two different positions. On the one hand there is the progress and the feeling for new musical trends. On the other hand there is the need to provide some kind of mainstream to access the trendy but unequal target audience. Track selection and mixing were supposed to be made by an artist from the electronic music scene.
